What Dental Insurances Do You Accept?

At Dugger Dental, we want it makes it easier for patients to afford the quality dental care they need to look and feel their best. As a courtesy to our patients, we Accept and Bill Most Major Dental Insurance Providers. We work with a long list of providers that include (but not limited to) Assurant, Cigna, Ameritas, United Concordia Dental, Delta Dental, Aetna, and many more.

If you have any questions about what treatments and services your plan covers, please feel free to contact our office for help in determining your available benefits. Our knowledgeable administrative team will assist you in reviewing your plan to determine all available benefits.

Do You Automatically Bill Insurance for Treatments and Services?

Yes, our administrative team automatically bills your insurance provider to help cover all provided treatments and services. With years of working with a wide variety of different insurance providers, our administrative team knows how to best maximize the benefits our patients are entitled to receive so they pay as little out-of-pocket as possible.

Unfortunately, we cannot bill insurance providers for services not covered under the terms of a patient’s plan. To prevent any confusion or the receiving of services not covered by your plan, we please ask that patients fully understand their insurance benefits prior to agreeing to any treatments or scheduling any elective services. If you need assistance determining what your insurance plan will cover, please feel free to contact our office prior to your appointment and a member of our administrative team will happily provide you with assistance.

What Types of Treatments Does Dr. Dugger Provide?

From teeth cleanings and dental exams to whitening treatments and dental implants, Dr. Dugger possess the skill and knowledge needed to provide patients with the individual treatments their oral health requires to look and feel it’s best.

What Types of Patients Do You Current Accept?

At Dugger Dental, we are currently accepting new, referral, and walk-in (schedule permitting) patients of all ages. Dr. Dugger specializes in providing advanced dental care to every member of the family. From a child’s first trip to see the dentist to advanced senior dental care, Dr. Dugger has you covered.

How Often Should I Schedule Appointments?

Both the American Dental Association and Dr. Dugger recommend that patients schedule an exam and cleaning at least once every six months. However, patients dealing with certain underlying medical conditions – such as diabetes – who are pregnant, or who have severe cases of gum disease may need to schedule appointments more frequently. After completing a comprehensive dental examination, Dr. Dugger will have a better understanding of how often a patient should schedule appointments.

Can a New Patient Receive a Cleaning During a First Appointment?

During your first appointment, our team will conduct a comprehensive examination of the current state of your oral health. Your initial appointment will generally include a full series of digital x-rays, a periodontal examination, and an oral cancer screening performed by Dr. Dugger. This information will provide our team with a clear understanding of a patient’s oral health needs so that a custom treatment plan can be created.

While we will try our best to complete a cleaning during a patient’s first appointment, we may not be able to achieve this with every patient. Depending on how long it’s been since a patient’s last cleaning, and the current state of their oral health, both factors will greatly influence whether the cleaning can be completed. Patients may need to schedule a second appointment if their cleaning cannot be completed during their first appointment.
